Nike Sacred Heart University Basketball Camp Review

I’ve been attending the Nike Sacred Heart University Basketball Camp for two years now, and honestly, it’s been awesome. If you’re looking for your first basketball camp in Connecticut or you’re still working on your fundamentals, this place is perfect. It’s not one of those crazy intense basketball camps where coaches are screaming at you – instead, you actually have fun while getting better at ball.

The Campus is Fire

Sacred Heart’s campus is absolutely beautiful – like seriously, it’s one of the nicest college basketball camp locations I’ve seen in the Northeast. Plus it’s only about an hour and 15 minutes from Manhattan, so you get that proximity to NYC while being on this amazing campus in Fairfield, Connecticut.

Coach Latina and Kyle Steinway: D1 Basketball Camp Leadership

Coach Latina and Kyle Steinway have been running this Nike basketball camp for years and you can totally tell. They and their Sacred Heart University coaches and players do a fantastic job – they run a well-organized D1 basketball program and that level of care really shows. Everything runs smooth, it’s super professional, and they know how to teach basketball fundamentals the right way. The basketball drills are legit and you can feel yourself improving every day.

Inclusive Basketball Camp Environment for Young Players

This is probably my favorite thing about this Connecticut basketball camp – no matter what skill level you’re at, you feel welcome. Whether you’re just starting to take basketball seriously or you’ve been playing youth basketball for a while, the coaches make sure you fit in with everyone else. No one gets left out or feels like they don’t belong at this basketball camp.

Nike Sacred Heart Basketball Camp Review: Final Thoughts

After attending this Nike basketball camp for two years, I can honestly say this basketball camp has made me way more confident on the court. It’s been such a good experience and I’m definitely planning to go back next summer. If you’re thinking about your first basketball camp in the Northeast or want somewhere that focuses on basketball fundamentals without all the pressure, Nike Sacred Heart University basketball camp is the move. Trust me on this one – this Connecticut basketball camp is worth it.
